“The lash market is saturated…” is it really?

“The lash market is saturated…” is it really?

If I had a dollar for every time I hear this…

“The market is saturated.”
“There are too many lash techs.”
“It’s hard to stand out.”

After more than 16 years as a trainer in the industry, I can tell you this:

Yes there are a lot of lash techs.

But that’s not the real problem.

Because at the same time, there are techs who are fully booked, charging more than average, with loyal clients…
while others are struggling to fill their schedule.

Same market.
Different results.

So what actually makes the difference?

It’s not your technique.
It’s not your products.
It’s not even your results.

Let’s be honest beautiful sets are everywhere now.

That’s the standard.

What makes the real difference is:

– your positioning
– your standards
– the way you present yourself
– the energy you bring
– what people feel when they land on your page

Because your clients don’t just choose a service…

They choose a person.

Real example (and this is what I see all the time)

I recently worked with a lash tech who was seeing around 10 clients per week.

Her prices were similar to everyone else in her area.
She wasn’t confident in her voice and was always looking for validation.
Her content was mostly just photos — no direction, no message.

Her setup didn’t reflect the level of service she actually wanted to offer.
Nothing was “wrong”… but nothing stood out either.

What changed?

Not her technique.

Her decisions.

She:

– raised her prices by about 30% (without over-explaining or justifying)
– started positioning her services based on value, not comparison
– upgraded her presentation (including wearing a uniform to reflect a more professional image)
– created content where she shares her opinion and educates her clients
– implemented and enforced cancellation policies
– started requiring deposits for certain clients
– said no to clients who didn’t respect her time or standards

And most importantly…

She stopped trying to be liked by everyone
and started acting like the business owner she actually is.

The result?

Within 3 months:

– her schedule filled about 50% more
– she gained new clients who respect her time and pricing
– less last-minute cancellations
– no more negotiating
– more confidence in how she communicates

And financially?

👉 bringing in about $1,500 more per month without needing to work 50% more hours to get there.

👉 That’s at least $20,000 more per year!!

All from making better decisions.

Let’s talk about money (for real)

Most lash techs don’t struggle because of the market.

They struggle because:

– they’re afraid to charge their worth
– they follow what others are doing instead of leading
– they lower their prices thinking it will bring more clients
– they tolerate behaviours that cost them money

Lower prices don’t build loyal clients.
They build clients who shop around.

 Here’s the truth

If you’re not fully booked right now, it’s not because the market is saturated…

It’s because your positioning isn’t clear enough yet.
Your standards aren’t strong enough yet.
And you’re not fully owning your value.

The shift

The clients you want?

They exist.

But they’re not looking for the cheapest option.
They’re looking for someone they trust.
Someone who feels solid, confident, professional.

Someone who knows what she’s doing… and owns it.

Final thought

You’re not “just another lash tech”.

But if you present yourself like one…

that’s exactly how you’ll be treated.

If you know your work is good, that you have real talent, but your schedule isn’t as full as you’d like…

That’s exactly the kind of situation I work on with my clients through coaching.

We’ll look at your positioning, your pricing, your standards, and how you show up, so your business finally reflects the real value of what you offer.

Send me a message.
We’ll see together if it’s a good fit.
